PRODUCT : Activity Monitor
Actometer counts every step

A good heat monitoring is important to determine the right timing for insemination. The calving interval will therefore improve considerably. The savings you will thus make, will rapidly exceed the investment made for the Actometer.

This is the reason why PEARSON have a system that observes the activity of your cows day and night and helps the cattle breeder to determine the correct timing for insemination.

A cow in heat shows a higher activity rate during a short or longer period. Now and then this increase in activity only occurs during the night, making it almost impossible for you to observe the incident. The PEARSON Actometer is hereby a practical expedient.

Actometer

Every cow that has calved, is fitted with an Actometer around the foreleg. The transponder records the movements of the cow. The data is read after every milking and deviations exceeding the adjusted upper or lower limit are mentioned on the parlour keyboard. A deviations

list is automatically printed after every milking and draws your attention to cows who are possibly in heat or are ill.

CERES Cow Management

The Actometer is linked to the Cow Management Windows program. This menu offers you information about the whole herd. By linking the Actometer to this, you have all information together and you have at your disposal a simple and effective means of controlling your herd
